This subproject is one of many research subprojects utilizing the resources provided by a Center grant funded by NIH/NCRR. The subproject and investigator (PI) may have received primary funding from another NIH source, and thus could be represented in other CRISP entries. Determine the acute effects (within one hour) of cannabis on driving abilities following repeated administration in individuals with neuropathic pain associated with HIV infection and spasticity associated with multiple sclerosis. Determine the residual effects of repeated cannabis dosing on driving abilities following an 18 hour period of abstinence.
