DOES FLUOXETINE REVERSE THE EFFECTS OF EARLY LIFE STRESS ON THE CNS CRF SYSTEM

This subproject is one of many research subprojects utilizing the resources provided by a Center grant funded by NIH/NCRR. The goal of this study is to determine whether fluoxetine (antidepressant) reverses the neurobiological consequences of early life stress (e.g., child abuse) and, thus, is effective for treatment and prevention of stress-related syndromal or subsyndromal psychopathology.
