MACROMOLECULAR CRYSTALLOGRAPHY REMOTE ACCESS WORKSHOP IN MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA

This subproject is one of many research subprojects utilizing the resources provided by a Center grant funded by NIH/NCRR. The subproject and investigator (PI) may have received primary funding from another NIH source, and thus could be represented in other CRISP entries. The institution listed is for the Center, which is not necessarily the institution for the investigator. A remote data collection workshop was conducted on February 9, 2007 at the University of Melbourne, Australia. The workshop, was attended by 29 participants representing 12 universities and research institutions within Australia and New Zealand. Participants were taught how to screen and collect data from pre-shipped samples on the SSRL beam lines using the Stanford Auto-Mounter (SAM) system and the SSRL remote-access system. A novel structure was solved with data collected during the workshop and solved the same day.
