英文摘要
This subproject is one of many research subprojects utilizing the resources provided by a Center grant funded by NIH/NCRR. The subproject and investigator (PI) may have received primary funding from another NIH source, and thus could be represented in other CRISP entries. The institution listed is for the Center, which is not necessarily the institution for the investigator. Uses functional neuroimaging to evaluate neural systems involved in working memory and their relation to the development of schizophrenia and impairments in social functioning in adolescents at risk; evaluates a parallel group of first-episode schizophrenic patients with the same procedures to determine how memory systems functioning changes during the first episode of psychosis in relation to symptom recovery following treatment and to changes in social functioning.
