英文摘要
This subproject is one of many research subprojects utilizing the resources provided by a Center grant funded by NIH/NCRR. The subproject and investigator (PI) may have received primary funding from another NIH source, and thus could be represented in other CRISP entries. The institution listed is for the Center, which is not necessarily the institution for the investigator. Introduction: The hemodynamic response of neural activation as measured by fMRI has different characteristics across different brain regions. Previous work has shown that different brain regions or layers can show different hemodynamic response, but there is no systematic investigation of such difference across the entire brain. Specific Aims: To study the temporal aspect of BOLD signal; that is, the asynchrony (lead-lag) of BOLD signal across different brain regions, Methods: We used correlogram to quantify the lead or lag between every two brain regions from 90 regions predefined in Anatomical Automatic Labeling in a large dataset of about 1000 subjects crossing 10 different fMRI experiments.
