The purpose of this study is to evaluate and compare attention and self-regulation of preterm infants on standardized measures. Specifically by measuring physiological and behavioral responses during social and cognitive challenges, we hope to add to what is known about the developmental profile of preterm infants. Performance on social and cognitive challenges will be compared to understand the underlying role that early elements of self-regulation may have on different aspects of development.
