This subproject is one of many research subprojects utilizing the resources provided by a Center grant funded by NIH/NCRR. The subproject and investigator (PI) may have received primary funding from another NIH source, and thus could be represented in other CRISP entries. Different peptide and proteins namely prion and amyloid beta are added to the lipid microdomains consisting of liquid ordered and liquid disordered phases and studied their partitioning behavior. In the another project, varying concentration of GM1-Bodipy is added to the raft mixture composed of DOPC:DPPC:Chol and its raft marking efficiency was studied.
