This subproject is one of many research subprojects utilizing the resources provided by a Center grant funded by NIH/NCRR. The subproject and investigator (PI) may have received primary funding from another NIH source, and thus could be represented in other CRISP entries. Benchmarking of the following 3 research areas in the Center for Computational Medicine and Biology will provide baseline metrics for the analysis of requirements in future full-scale research activities. 1. Mesoscale molecular dynamics for structural biology applications 2. Time scale modeling extending into the microsecond domain. 3. Phylogenetic analysis comparing species and gene trees.
