英文摘要
This subproject is one of many research subprojects utilizing the resources provided by a Center grant funded by NIH/NCRR. The subproject and investigator (PI) may have received primary funding from another NIH source, and thus could be represented in other CRISP entries. The institution listed is for the Center, which is not necessarily the institution for the investigator. Objectives: 1. Characterize the effect of shear stress on the directional migration of trophoblast cells 2. Determine the role of chemokines and endothelial adhesion molecules in shear stress-mediated trophoblast migration. 3. Determine the effect of shear stress and trophoblast-endothelial cell interaction on the induction of a migratory trophoblast phenotype. 4. Characterize the expression of CCR5, RANTES, proteoglycans, and integrins in invaded macaque uterine vessels.
