EVALUATION OF THE SAFETY, TOLERABILITY AND IMPACT ON BIOMARKERS OF ANTI-OXIDA

SPECIFIC AIMS Primary Objective: To assess the safety and tolerability, and effect on cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) biomarkers related to oxidative damage, of two antioxidant treatment regimens in patients with mild to moderate Alzheimer's disease. Secondary Objective(s): To assess whether concentrations of beta-amyloid-42 and beta-amyloid-40 in plasma and CSF change after administration of antioxidants in patients with mild to moderate AD.
