The hypothesis to be tested is that hydroxychloroquine will reduce neutophils, active elastase, ad proinflammatory cytokines (without and increase in bacterial burden) in induced sputum after 4 weeks of therapy in patients with CF, and that it will increase the pH of exhaled breath condensate (EBC) collected at the same time points.
