Administration of the Research Core Center Administration of Research Core Center Grant. The Research Core Center Grant includes 17 investigators at present and likely add new investigators in the future. Investigators in the C-CEBH are extremely collaborative and enjoy multiple productive relationships. Several ongoing weekly seminars such as Neuroethology, Neuroscience and Cognitive Science, as well as annual graduate courses in hearing taught by all Core Center Investigators ensure that these productive relationships stay strong and vibrant. The two Research Cores, on the other hand, directly affect the execution of research and directly affect collaborations and the sharing of facilities. The Director of this Research Core Center Grant-for the next five years will continue to be Robert J. Dooling. Dr. Dooling holds positions as a professor in Psychology and part time Associate VP for Research. He has had extensive administrative experience in similar roles. Dr. Dooling's NIH-funded laboratory has maintained continuous research funding by NIH for over 25 years and, in addition to this grant, he is PI on two NIDCD R01s
