A high-speed nanopositioner with nanoscale manoeuvring accuracy is used extensively in nanotechnology applications such as biological cell studies and nanomanipulation. This project seeks to address fundamental problems associated with the design and control of nanopositioners, which will subsequently benefit Australian nanotechnology research.
