Despite the enormous potential of physical activity to enhance healthy ageing, little attention has been paid to investigating their value for money. In additional, “real world” implementation solutions are lacking. This fellowship will focus on people at higher risk of physical inactivity and will provide much needed evidence on cost-effectiveness of physical activity programs, and implementation solutions to improve physical activity promotion by health professionals within routine practice.
