In health, medicine and science in general, incomplete data, either by design or happenstance, often occurs.  The primary objectives of my research program are to investigate efficient statistical methods for the analysis of incomplete data and to develop optimal design strategies to minimize the cost of data collection.  Specific areas of focus are semiparametric maximum likelihood models and two-phase sampling design. The research will develop design and regression analysis procedures in areas that involve incomplete data.  The expected significance of the work will be in providing new, simple methods that are just as (or more) efficient than relatively complicated approaches.
