Project information is often created and updated in a highly collaborative way. Often stakeholders are geographically distributed, which substantially limits their interaction and adds complexity to the planning of projects. Another difficulty in collaborative software development is that information is stored in heterogeneous systems and tools. Even when information is integrated, the traditional displays pose space limitations and planning on small screens becomes a tedious task.
