This Research Tools and Instruments grant application is for the renewal of equipment for the support of bioinformatics research at the School of Information Technology and Engineering. The computing infrastructure was funded in 2002 by the Canadian Fund for Innovation. These computers, servers and workstations, have reached their end-of-life. The current application is to purchase four workstations and one 8-core work group server.
