This application proposes to investigate the use of Single Point Incremental Forming (SPIF) manufacturing process in the field of architectural projects. SPIF is a new manufacturing process which can be used to make sheet metal products without having the need for mass production and thus the high cost to produce. Architectual projects are typically produced in small number and quite often each part is individual. This makes SPIF a possible choice for producing architectual products. SPIF does not have characteristics similar to traditional manufacturing processes, mean no models are available to predict the capabilities of SPIF. Thus each time a field is determine to be a potential match, their is need for research to determine if the products can be made using SPIF.
