This research is about design and implementation of the next-generation web-based clients connected to an OLAP server. Queries submitted to the user are routinely routed to the OLAP server on the Web for processing, although lately ideas of data validation on the client side have been proposed. By embedding in the webpage an OLAP engine that can proceed the queries on the client side, we aim to provide the users with real-time data visualization capability on 'thin' web-based devices such as IPad or IPhone, or other devices with HMTL5-based browsers.
