英文摘要
This application requests equipment to quantitatively and automatically calculate kinematic variations during working activities over a typical working period (normally a working day). Musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) are principally a function of motion, posture and repetition, as well as psychosocial stresses. Recent research has shown that even highly skilled operators include variations in their gestures which can moderate MSD risk. It is important that models account for the real posture and motion variations employed by workers. A three-camera video-based and frequency-variable SIMI motion system is requested to support this important research, along with eight wireless 2D inclinometers (for the back, upper arms, forarms and hands) which do not require visual contact and interface with the CAPTIV L7000 analysis system. These will complement traditional video equipment and analysis tools already available: CAPTIV L2100 software to time-analyse observed video qualitatively (but not quantitatively capture angular variations) and CAPTIV L3000 with force sensing technologies (linear tension-compression transducer, finger-tip sized force-sensing resistors). VICON or OPTOTRAK systems at institutions 2 to 3 hours drive away remain of interest for controlled laboratory studies, unlike the work-centred studies proposed here. With the requested equipment, quantitative and exact data analysis recorded can be recorded either in a work-site or in a laboratory.
