Scientists at the University of Toronto have created new materials with multiple functions and nanostructures useful for therapeutic and diagnostic applications. Dr. Wu and Dr. Macgregor will use the instrument funded by the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada to analyze these new materials and nanostructures. The results and knowledge obtained from the analyses will help them to design advanced materials for better therapies of cancer and diabetes and for more accurate detection of diseases.
