Our research is designed to address the need for improved synthesis of chemicals that can be used to improve human health and to prepare new materials for high tech industries. Our goal is to devise new chemical reactions that lead to more efficient preparation of the target molecules and in so doing, create less waste, cost less and be higher yielding with few unwanted side products. The medicines of tomorrow often begin with the basic chemistry results of today.
