The importance of scheduling optimization cannot be underestimated. Therefore, there is significant amount of research on this topic. However, most of the previous research dealt with deterministic models. The stochastic and dynamic natures of systems are considered either after introducing the deterministic optimized schedule to the system, or by using simplistic assumptions to reduce the complexity of an already NP-hard problem.
