英文摘要
Multimatic, a Canadian based world leader in automotive engineering, and Prof. Alis Ekmekci from the University of Toronto are initiating a research partnership to develop an experimental database for the validation of Computational Fluid Dynamic (CFD) simulations of external automobile aerodynamics. The performance, handling, safety, and comfort of automobiles are affected by their aerodynamic properties. Traditional tools used by industry to evaluate the aerodynamic performance of automobiles are wind tunnel experiments and road tests. These tests are often expensive and time consuming. In order to meet consumer demand and stay competitive automotive companies like Multimatic are developing new analysis techniques
