Quantum technologies promise to underpin many of tomorrow's tools and devices, from ultra sensitive quantum sensors to quantum cryptography. Photonics will play an important role as it supports both quantum devices and quantum communication. A key component of photonic based quantum technology is a quantum light source. The aim of this proposal is to investigate a unique miniature quantum light source being developed by Hamilton based optical manufacturing company C2C link and researchers at Waterloo's Institute for Quantum Computing.
