With the appearance of social media platforms such as weblogs, social blogs, microblogging, wikis, and discussion forums, people can create, share and exchange their information and ideas on the web. Due to the mass of information exchanged daily on the social media, the traditional monitoring techniques are not useful. Therefore, there is a high demand for developing an automated tool to gather all the news and information related to important events. This tool should be intelligent enough to extract the opinion from the gathered information. This intelligent tool can be incorporated within various contexts such as journalism, politics and even public safety.
