Giatec is a knowledge-based company that provides advanced concrete testing solutions to the construction industry. Using its award winning innovative technology, Giatec's concrete testing devices (SurfTM, RCONTM, PermaTM) measure performance parameters for quality control of concrete such as permeability, diffusivity, and electrical resistance. In this project, we will provide Giatec with a web-based data-analytic solution to capture the parameters measured by its testing devices, store them in a central database in pre-defined formats, analyze the data using various statistical and data mining techniques, facilitate query of the data submitted by its end users, visualize the analysis results, and generate reports and alarms for the end users including concrete producers, consulting companies, and infrastructure owners and operators.
