英文摘要
The Ontario Screen Industries T AC will provide technology innovation support services within this multi-billion dollar production industry , including film, television and interactive media. With the GTA as the center of its activity, this is a key sector in Ontario's innovation agenda and a driver of future economic growth. Small-to-medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) - at the core of this intensely competitive international industry where disruptive technological change is a way of life- have limited access to advanced technologies and expertise required to innovate. This digital media convergence TAC will provide SMEs with support services including applied research, product testing, technology consulting/training, innovation planning, and collaboration facilitation - building on the industry leadership in technology innovation established by Sheridan and its Screen Industries Research and Training Centre (SIRT). With a focus on transmedia production (content for delivery to multiple screens or platforms including film, TV, gaming, interactive media), the TAC will work with originallP content producers, hardware and software developers, and support SMEs. As SIRT has done, the TAC will work with key stakeholders (government, academic and industry organizations/associations) to ensure this unique innovation hub results in an international competitive advantage and job creation.
