项目摘要
The integrative performance sensor project is a collaborative research project between Reebok-CCM Hockey and the Human Performance Laboratory at the University of Calgary. The overarching objective of the project is to apply novel data collection and analysis methodologies, in order to develop unique sensor set configurations for a variety of sport specific movements, which will allow engineers to design innovative and functionally relevant performance enhancing products. The results from this research will result in the growth of scientific knowledge on sensor use and the interpretation of the data from multiple sensor types, which will be reflected in the publication of multiple journals over the span of the project. Lastly, the innovative methodologies and scientific approaches which are planned for this project will provide an intense academic learning setting for students, technicians, industry engineers, and post-doctoral fellows who will be asked to participate in this research.
