项目摘要
HepatoCellular Carcinoma (HCC) (liver cancer) is the fifth most common cancer in the world and third cause of cancer
mortality and its incidence is increasing worldwide and intra-arterial therapies are now the preferred therapeutic approach for
advanced HCC. Unlike other existing interventional methods, we propose a non-invasive treatment concept which consists
in injecting special drug-carrying biodegradable magnetic carriers being navigated directly to the site being treated using a
clinical Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scanner in order to enhance the treatment of liver cancer. We have previously
proven its feasibility in a rabbit model. However, the technology must first be adapted to the human scale before considering
clinical translation, which is the main goal of this project.

在兔子模型中证明了它的可行性。然而,在考虑之前,该技术必须首先适应人类规模。
临床翻译,这是这个项目的主要目标。
