The MAYA HTT Ltd is a Canadian company located in Montreal, Quebec. MAYA is interested to implement a turbulent combustion model to their CFD solver. Prof. Murray Thomson's Combustion Research Laboratory (CRL) has a strong track record of success in the modelling of combustion processes. The new combustion modelling software will benefit engine designers to optimize their designs and reduce air pollution and fuel consumption. In addition, it will develop new markets for MAYA's products and build up a Canadian knowledge intensive company. It will also provide a post-doctoral fellow with industry relevant experience.
