PixMob是一家加拿大公司,致力于在大型活动(音乐表演、体育和社交活动)中促进人群互动
英文摘要
PixMob is a Canadian company which promotes crowd interaction at major events (music shows, sports and corporate events, etc). PixMob is one of the world leaders in designing experiences and technology for crowd interaction. They have been present in several worldwide events such as the Super Bowl 2014, Sochi 2014, SEAG 2015, Pan Am 2014; and working with preeminent artists such as Arcade Fire, Black Keys or ColdPlay, to name a few. In the past few years PixMob has been growing and expanding their market, having a major role in the entertainment business. This project will result in the development of a tool to analyze and model human crowd movement by predicting location of individuals in a room during social events (conferences, music festivals, game ceremonies, etc.). The tool will contribute to understand the behaviour of crowds within these events and enable the design of individualized experiences for each user, promoting interaction and enhancing the role of technology in social interactions. The possibility of creating products that are targeted to enrich the individual experiences of the users would help PixMob to demarcate from its competitors and continue to be one of the most innovative companies in their domain. Furthermore, in the future, this technology can be applied to other areas of knowledge such as medical assistance (tracking an elderly patient), sociology (providing tools to describe group behaviour) or statistical information ( how much visitors a certain museum, exhibition or event had).
