Canada has an extremely vibrant and large poultry industry. One of the major challenges in this industry is pressure from diseases. Point-of-care diagnostics for detection of disease-causing agents in food and supply environment can significantly benefit Canada's poultry industry. In this project, we will develop pre-concentrator for a point-of-care diagnostic sensor. The research outcome will help solve the challenging economic and animal welfare aspects of the Canadian poultry industry.
