Light scattering (LS) enables analysis of dynamic changes in the absolute mass, size and shape of objects from 0.3 nm (~1 kDa) to 10 μm (1 MDa) including extracellular vesicles, proteins and multimolecular complexes. This technology can be used either with solutions in a microcuvette or in-line with any column to investigate eluting complexes. Together this allows highly accurate analysis of the interactions between these objects and their sensitivity to changes in their molecular environment (pH, co-factors, chemical). This nanoscale resolution of dynamic changes in objects enables a remarkable variety of transformative applications.
