Domtar Espanola mill, which manufactures about 327,000 tons ADMT (air-dried metric tons) of pulp and 69,000 short tons of paper annually, is interested in minimizing their waste stream of mill sludge by converting it into a sugar stream as a value-added product that can diversify their product range and increase their global competitiveness.
