Suspensions of particles in non-simple fluids are an important class of materials (foods, paints, cosmetics, semi-crystalline polymers) for which scant experimental flow data (beyond viscosity measurements) and practically no easily applicable theories exist. The project aims to give us vastly improved theoretical predictions of material behaviour.
