RBRO Solutions is a full-service provider of content management solutions that help organizations gain the greatest value fromtheir content. One of RBRO's product family is called "Link2DMS" and contains a feature set devoted to serving documents fromthe Document Management System (DMS) through the use of Network File Sharing (NFS). RBRO has more than 190 clientsusing the system, with about 55,000 licenses in the market. However current system has no write access to files. In the proposedproject, RBRO is partnering with Centennial Colleges WIMTACH (Wearable, Interactive and Mobile Technologies Access Centrein Health) to develop the "write back" functionality and integrate it into their current system, while maintaining the same rigoroussecurity and version control protocols. Partnering with WIMTACH will give RBRO access to an experienced team with strongexpertise in applied research and project management and the best software development talent from Centennials softwareengineering technology program. WIMTACH team will develop a software module that would allow the write-back functionality fora wide range of documents and perform flawlessly under high stress conditions. Successful completion of the proposed project willbring manifold benefits to RBRO Solutions. With an upgraded "Link2DMS", RBRO will be able to better serve its existing 190+clients. RBRO will also be able to capture new clients and expect their existing revenues from Link2DMS to rise by up to 50percent as a result of the proposed upgrade. RBRO is anticipating a product release for end-users within three months from theproject completion.
