Fortek Security Systems is Toronto-based Access Control Systems Company serving a variety of businesses includingcommercial and residential buildings, hotels and businesses. Fortek has systems installed all over Canada, USA, Australia, Libyaand Mali. In the proposed project, Fortek is partnering with Centennial Colleges WIMTACH (Wearable, Interactive and Mobiletechnologies access center in Health). WIMTACH offers technology development services to small and medium sized enterprisesin the Greater Toronto Area. WIMTACH will provide technical development and research management expertise to the project.Successful completion of proposed project will provide Fortek Security with a cloud-based, key-less entry system with anaccompanying security management software and a mobile application. It will greatly accelerate the commercialization process forFOrtek's proposed product, paving the way for a commercial launch. Over the next five years, increased sales will drive Forteksgrowth, with the company hiring more than 21 employees to handle product development, sales, marketing, client relations,technical support and manufacturing support. Annual revenues are expected to reach approximately $5.9 million by the year 2021.
