英文摘要
We request a cutting edge system for high throughput, high resolution optical scanning of brain tissue. Prior to the scanning, the tissue is extracted from brains of experimental animals, sectioned into slices that are mounted on slides, and processed according to various histology, immunofluorescence or immunohistochemistry protocols. We will also use the scanner to validate the selective expression of optogenetic constructs and to validate fluorescence expression in transgenic/Cre animal lines.
