项目摘要
The combination of functional nanoparticles with polymer composite nanofibre technology echnology will benable the creation of new capabilities in the rapidly growing markets of energy, environment and health care. The outcomes of this program will form the basis for the engineering design and fabrication of a new family of ultra-high performance enabling materials. The design and manufacturing methodology developed in this proposed program will facilitate multiscale manufacturing and characterization of the composite nanofibrous structures thus help close the knowledge gap between academic innovation and industrial applications. A new generation of HQP will be trained in the emerging field of nanofibre technology.
