The Chair enabled leading-edge discoveries in Proteomics and Bioanalytical Mass Spectrometry and fostered a creative multi-disciplinary training environment of international caliber for trainees and collaborators. We established a vibrant and innovative research program in Mass Spectrometry and quantitative proteomics to decipher the molecular mechanisms regulating the function of proteins involved in immunity and cancer. We developed novel approaches to profile protein modifications and immunogenic molecules that provided key insights on cell signaling and antigen presentation in normal and neoplastic cells. Our work led to publications in high impact journals, patents and technology transfer to the industry.
