It is crucial that a company like Axter Agroscience Inc. (www.axter.ca) provides their agronomic**representatives with better documentation and information (i.e., more precise and accurate estimates) on the**effectiveness of their biostimulants and nutrient fertilizers. A part of the results of this applied statistical project**in collaboration with McGill University will allow that. In addition, a broader and deeper insight on the**plant-soil relationships will be obtained by the application of the so-called "path analysis" and the companion**modeling of connexions. At the other extremity of the spectrum, the experiments at the source of the collection**of data play a very important role with regards to the outcome of any later hypothesis testing. Therefore,**another part of our results will allow Axter project managers to use improved experimental designs (i.e., with**enhanced statistical power) in future field experimentation for a large number of crop plant species.
