In the modern industrialized society, there is an immense interest in research and development**of novel energy systems due to endless consumption of energy that is growing day by day. Due to the strong decentralized nature of energy resources, traditional power plants are not always suitable to compensate for energy fluctuations. A fuel cell can be a promising candidate to tackle the above challenges that can efficiently convert fuels to electricity, completely renewable, low cost, easily scalable and environmentally benign. The specific short term objective of the proposed research is to develop a numerical model to address physical changes like evolution of temperature over time while considering both operating and design parameters. The expected model will also have the flexibility to add new parameters or make changes if needed by the design or sales engineers.
