SOLUTIONS AMBRA Inc. is a Quebec company in the telecommunications equipment industry. The company designs, develops and implements LTE and IoT communications technologies adapted to the specific needs of the mining sector, mainly for the monitoring of material assets. Ambra now wishes to develop a solution that will have the dual function of geolocation and worker movement detection, for monitoring personnel in underground environments and detecting risk situations requiring emergency measures. To do this, Ambra need the C2T3's expertise in wireless telecommunications and IoT to support research into this technology for mine safety. For Ambra, this project is an important vehicle for innovation aimed at positioning itself competitively in the market for the deployment of LTE-IoT communications technologies adapted to the safety needs of underground workers and the detection of risk situations requiring emergency measures.
