英文摘要
Traffic-related air pollution (TRAP) has a large impact on public health. Numerous associations have been established between chronic and acute exposures and respiratory and cardiovascular effects. Building on Dr. Hatzopoulous expertise in emission/dispersion modelling and air quality monitoring and her collaborations with TRAP epidemiologists, she proposes a research program that will provide essential information for the development of policies to better design transportation infrastructure and minimize the impact of traffic on air quality. In addition, she will both develop and evaluate the potential of mobile phone applications in modifying individual mobility decisions with the objective of reducing air pollution exposure.
