英文摘要
Highly innovative projects will be pursued in the framework of this research chair program, and will include: (i) fundamental investigations in integrated nonlinear optics; (ii) fundamental investigations in integrated quantum optics. Then these fundamental findings will be exploited for the development of smart photonic devices making use of (iii) analog optical processing, and (iv) quantum information processing. In parallel, efforts will be made to optimize the proposed platform through new fabrication methods and to work in conjunction with industry in prototype development targeting medium and long-term device commercialization.
