The AgroPhytoSciences program is based on the premise that the next generation of scientists must be able to work in a multidisciplinary environment and must develop the entrepreneurship skills needed to develop new products. The AgroPhytoSciences program will train highly qualified personnel within our four research priority areas: Plant breeding and molecular biology, Crop protection, Production systems and environmental sciences and Socioeconomic aspects of crop production. These HQP will also acquire the multidisciplinary and professional skills necessary to make a successful transition into the workplace. Both national and international students participating in the AgroPhytoSciences program will be selected according to rigorous criteria. Each student will be supervised by a committee consisting of two co-supervisors with distinct fields of expertise and two additional members who will assess the student's progress and their acquisition of professional skills. Each student will be enrolled in a 45 (master's) or 90 credit program (Ph.D.) offered by their institution. In addition, the AgroPhytoSciences program will offer supplementary training by providing students with innovative and personalized enrichment programs that will offer advanced technology workshops as well as courses and internships aimed at enhancing their professional integration into the workforce.
