项目摘要

The Internet of Things (IoT) is an emerging network paradigm connecting billions of wireless devices. Proper network resource management will play a critical role in reaping the benefits of this emerging technology. Fundamental approaches must provide solutions for imperfect wireless communications, complex network dynamics, complexity of distributed computation, and stringent application-specific Quality of Service requirements. Dr. Lus research program will develop innovative resource management solutions towards robust, efficient and intelligent wireless IoT networks capable of serving current and future IoT applications in diverse domains such as smart homes, factory automation, intelligent transportation systems, connected healthcare and emergency response and rescue.
