英文摘要
The objectives of the proposed research program are to exploit the research environment established during the previous chair to generate additional foundational knowledge of Suspension Thermal Spray, Liquid Accelerated Cold Spray and Aerosol Deposition processes and control. Multidisciplinary techniques including optical diagnostics, CFD analysis and artificial intelligence will lay the foundation for applications in important economic sectors for Canada and with a strong sustainability focus. The major accomplishment will be to embed a high-quality research environment that promotes teamwork, respect for diversity and a rich HQP learning experience. This will ensure lasting world- leading thermal spray research at Concordia.
