My research weaves Indigenous and Western science approaches to contribute to the advancement of environmental and ecological science. The number of species-at-risk across the globe are increasing, jeopardizing ecological integrity and traditional ways of life. Inclusive, interdisciplinary research with holistic perspectives has become more important than ever. My research will emphasize the ways in which two-eyed seeing can advance environmental and ecological science through investigations of areas underrepresented in science. Ultimately, my research contributes to conservation, sustainability, and the progression of the natural sciences in the spirit of reconciliation.
